A Note from the Artistic Director

Greetings!
All of us at Vivid are excited to begin our 29th season with the world
premiere production of Richard Willett’s Grief at High Tide. We were drawn to
it after hearing it in our Meet the Artist series last May because it asks the
important questions: Who owns the story: artist or subject? Does art made
from trauma harm or heal? And what do we owe to our loved ones, and to
ourselves?
Welcome back to you, our friends in the audience, and to Andrew Binger,
André DeSandies and Gary Glor, who are returning to the Vivid Stage. They
are collaborating with company members Noreen Farley and Daria M.
Sullivan, as well as stage manager/actor Scott McGowan.
Also, The Flip Side explores The Afterlife, the great unknown that lends itself
perfectly to improv! Thanks for being with us, and please consider a season
