As long as you're clear on what you most value and what you'd most like to create in your life, turning up the volume on your emotion of abundance will attract the wealth you desire, in the form of cash, people, situations, opportunities, or other resources. But if you let your fears get in your way, you'll start to place too much store in money and may begin violating your personal principles and brushing aside your unique values.
Fear can cause us to feel that we have to accumulate lots of money or financial security in order to be safe, but we can feel secure, cared for, loved, and trusting of the Universe without a lot of material wealthand even without any material wealth. Create those positive feelings of safety and love and you won't give in to fear and start overvaluing money and thinking that it will soothe your anxieties and worries. When you're fearful, no amount of material prosperity will truly squelch that emotion. You can only address it with the antidote of faith.
Many people say that what's most precious to them is their relationships with their family and friends, yet when their fear flourishes, they begin to worry about money so much that they become short-tempered and obsessed with making more of it. Some men think that if their wives or children are unhappy, the solution is to be a better provider. Earning a larger income is one way to solve some problems in life, but it's not the only way to create a happy and loving family. Sometimes the best thing a man can do for his loved ones is to become a better provider of what his family needs most from him: his presence, affection, caring, and emotional support.
