The majority of us would say that the most important thing in life is love, but when it comes to what else we value, we're all very different. Some people greatly prize adventure and the ability to travel. Others would like to have a life that's abundant with relationships. You may highly esteem learning, owning a large and beautiful home, having access to nature, or living a simple lifestyle. Whatever your values are, don't let worries about money distract you from what's most important to you. Replace your fear with faith that you'll be able to attain what you value. Faith, which is a positive emotion, will draw to you what you desire.
In the meantime, appreciate what you have now. If you're not living in the beautiful, large home you long for, be grateful for all the positive qualities of your current residence. If you live far away from nature, which you greatly value, enjoy the sparrows, grass, and small trees on your city block and make a point of spending time outdoors wherever you can. Trust that the more you acknowledge and feel gratitude for what you personally value, the more you'll increase it. Embrace and honor your unique values, whatever they are.
Never let someone else's values influence you to feel inferior about your own. Generally, if others are trying to make you feel bad about what you cherish, it's because they're feeling fearful about something. Their fear is their responsibility, and you don't have to respond to it by sharing this negative emotion. Instead, you might want to help them explore that fear by asking them about it, inquiring, "Why does it bother you that I'm spending my money on traveling [or collecting sports memorabilia/buying designer shoes/ giving to charities I believe in]? Do you wish you had more money to spend the way you'd like to?" Or you might ask them, "What is it about my business model that makes you so uncomfortable?" You might help them discover the hidden beliefs that are preventing them from manifesting wealth in their own lives or enjoying and sharing the abundance they have. Furthermore, their answers might help you clarify your own values and feel even more confident about your decisions.
I don't believe there's one correct way to spend or invest money. Everyone has different values, and as long as people are being true to them, and creating positive emotions instead of negative ones, I feel that they'll make the right
