compensation. Maybe you can convert your hobby into a paid job. Then, too, use your time and energy wisely, as these are also valuable assets. Network with other people, exchange resources and information, and discover ways to appreciate and grow each other's abundance.
Respecting resources also means being frugal instead of wasteful. If something doesn't have value for you, don't spend money on it, even if you have the money for it. It's easy to fall into spending habits and not stop to say, "Gee, I don't need this service anymore-I'm really not using it," or "I think I could get a better price than I'm getting if I check around." If you're not watching television these days, are you paying for movie channels and on-demand services that you don't need? If your cell-phone bill keeps creeping up, do you really have to make that many calls on your cell, and if so, could you negotiate a better pricing package? If you're living in a house or apartment that's larger than you need it to be, are you truly appreciating it, or would you have more appreciation for a smaller home that's more suited to your lifestyle right now? Ask yourself, Do I really value this, or am I just unconsciously spending money?
Just as you wouldn't leave a faucet dripping, costing you money and wasting resources, don't squander the resources you have. Use them for something you value. By constantly creating feelings of abundance and faith that the Universe will provide, you can ensure that your resources will always be there for you and that you're working with the Universe to co-create even more abundance for yourself and others.
I open my eyes, my heart, and my arms to all the resources and assistance available to me. I am patient and trusting as I watch the stream of abundance flow into me, its force growing stronger and stronger. I feel the rush of it pouring into my life from all directions.
