you owe and increase your wealth-but remember that whatever you do, it's important to create positive emotions about bringing wealth into your life. Enjoy how exciting it is to make payments on your debt and to see it being whittled down.
6. Ask for help if you so choose. If you'd like to approach someone to help you with your debt, be aware of the specifics of your financial situation and begin by explaining just how you got into debt, what you've learned from the experience, and how you've changed your spending habits. Remember that there's no value in creating negative feelings about owing money. Take responsibility for it and let the other person know what you'd like him or her to do for you: pay off the debt, loan you money, guide you in finding ways to increase your income and get out of the red, cosign a loan, and so forth.
Be open to, and grateful for, whatever assistance they can give you. If other people can't offer you anything of value-not even understanding and encouragement-and instead are angry, judgmental, or resentful, accept that they have chosen to feel negative about your request and don't respond by creating negative feelings.
7. Make amends, with love. If you treated someone unjustly during the creation of the debtperhaps you borrowed a lot of money you can't pay back as you promised, or you avoided someone after that person gave you a loan because you felt guiltycreate a feeling of love for yourself and anyone you wronged. When you feel loving toward yourself and others, you'll find the courage to admit to them that you did something they found hurtful. You'll be brave enough to say, "What can I do to make it up to you?"and you'll make amends. If you can't make amends to the one you harmed because the person feels so hurt that he or she won't forgive you, bless that individual, express your love and gratitude to him or her, and make a point of giving of value, unconditionally, to the world.
