assuming the worst about them doesn't bring you any closer to riches or riches any closer to you. It will only cause you to feel negative emotions and to repel the wealth you desire.
Once, I was approached by a Christian organization that wanted to hire me for a project. I asked, "How can I serve you?"
The representative replied, "We'd like you to make one of our self-help books into a bestseller."
"I can definitely help you with that," I said enthusiastically. I've used my Internet-marketing skills and my passion to help many authors achieve that particular goal. I love lending my talents to projects that will allow others to learn, grow, and experience abundance.
"But," said the representative, "our author is a good Christian who insists that he doesn't want to become famous or make too much money."
I was curious: "Why wouldn't he want to be famous or to make money?"
My potential client explained to me that the author, like the members of the charitable organization he was a part of, felt that money and fame always leads to temptation and sin. He wanted his book to inspire people to change their lives for the better, but he didn't want to have to pay the price of becoming greedy, or "worldly."
"Well," I said, "I can't guarantee that he won't make money or be famous, and I feel strongly that if he's using his gifts and wisdom to serve, then the Universe is meant to respond by providing him with abundance in one form or another. Your author could always choose to give his money away to your organization."
The client saw my point, and in the end the author decided to donate all the profits for the book to the organization.
