Elook forward to their senior
prom. It’s a special night to dress up,
have pictures taken and dance the
night away with friends. In Danville
this spring, there was another senior
prom that was unlike those enjoyed
by high school students, yet it
was a meaningful occasion for the
participants just the same.
That senior prom was held at
McDowell Place of Danville – an
independent living, assisted living and
personal care community owned by
Ephraim McDowell Health – and the
participants were true seniors … in
the sense that all of them are in that
special generation who are retired.
“Our residents loved the senior
prom,” said Gina Scott, activities
director at McDowell Place of
Danville since it opened in March
