Over the past fifteen and ten years, my country has experienced a great change because of
dollarization. This change has had two major effects: Positive and negative effects
economically.
I. Dollarization is a great economical advance
a. Ecuador was not an industrialized country.
b. Dollarization allowed Ecuador to have a contract with USA.
Ecuador became a direct exporter to United States.
II. Dollarization in Ecuador meant poverty in the society.

b. People lost all of their money
c. Sucre had a better value than dollar.
