T h e lower images show I IF without electric cur rent loading and a temperatureofaproximately-7.8oc.Itapearsthatthegrainsat theedgeoftheintracelularicecrystalwerefinerwiththanwithout electriccurentloading.Moreover,thedegreofsuperco1ingat intracelularfrezingwithelectriccurentloadingwaslowerthan withoutelectriccurentloading.Therefore,theIFbehaviorwith electriccurentloadingwasevaluatedusingthedegreofsuper- coi1ng,thedegreofceldeformation,andthegrainsizeand growingrateofintracelularicecrysta.l
