   If you live in the countryside, or anywhere close to agricultural areas, or if your house is any kind
of older style or model – having mice in your house is simply part of life. I am not talking about having mice in the house all the time, but seasonally, there will be one or two that will find their way inside, usually, in late fall before snow falls or again, during winter. If you grew up in the country, it is not a big deal, and you grew up accustomed to having mouse traps here and there
can be confusing as there are many – and it is not because you catch it in a house that it is called a house mouse! Other species also occur inside human dwellings from time to time, especially the white- footed mouse. The house mouse is the most abundant animal in the genus Mus, and probably the most abundant animal in the world.
