It is not the intention of this policy to discipline or terminate the employment of teaching and non-teaching personnel
with loyal service records who are temporarily experiencing a period of poor health. Therefore, the following procedures will
govern exceptions to this policy:
1. If a teaching and non-teaching personnel reaches or exceeds the level of six (6) absences, or nine (9) occurrences of
tardiness, and it is felt that circumstances justify a reduction in the level of progressive discipline, the employee or manager
may request an exception to this policy.
2. Reasons for an exception must be submitted in writing to the EVP thru the Head of HRDMO.

CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY
(HRMemo no. 2 s.2019)
All employees of the Immaculada Concepcion College shall keep confidential any and all information they
acquire during the course of their employment that would reasonably be considered to be personal or confidential.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• personal information concerning students
• personal information concerning employees
• confidential information obtained from third parties
• Any communication or information, such as facts, data or opinions, including numerical, graphic or
narrative forms, whether oral of maintained in any medium, including computerized database
• Health Records
• Financial Records
• Payroll records/Salary Schedule/Salary Scale
• Pay Slips
• Human Resource Records/Personal File
• Legal Documents (such as contracts, appointments, and the like)
• Any document or information that may be labeled as such by the originating office
It is a school policy that all confidential information (verbal, written, computer file or personal data bases) should
be maintained in a manner which ensures its privacy and safety.
Employee/s who disclose information observed or heard without proper authorization will be subject to
disciplinary action. The observance of confidentiality also applies to the disclosure of information regarded as
confidential within a department/unit/office.
Policy and Procedures
I. Confidential, school business, and personal information should not be accessed by, or discussed
with, anyone except authorized individuals on a need to know bases. All requests for information
about the employee or student should be forwarded to the authorized department/division to be
approved by the designated approving officer.
