30 maoists including front line leaders of AOBSZC like Chamela Kistaiah @ Daya (SZCM) killed in an EOF between Grey hounds of AP/Odisha Police and maoists near village Ramagarhi, PS-Parampetta, Distt-Malkangiri and recovered huge catches of Arms/Ammo/Explosives/Eqpts.
15/09/2016, DISTRICT-KALAHANDI, PS-BIJEPUR, PLACE- NIYAMGIRI HILL AREA
An encounter took place between police (SOG personnel) and extremists, resulting in the death of a female extremist. Police recovered INSAS (1) and SLR (1) .303 rifle (1), 12 bore rifle (1) live assorted ammunition (8 rounds), detonators (20), tiffin bomb (1), WT set (1), haversacks (10), solar light (2) battery cell (1), electric wire (50 mtrs), medicine box with medicine (1), Maoist literature, Maoist flag(1), cooking utensils, water jerkins from the site of encounter.
03/09/2016, DISTRICT-SUNDERGARH, PS-GURUNDIA, PLACE- JARDHA FOREST AREA
An encounter took place between police and extremists, resulting in the death of two extremists (Shankar Munda and Bhima Munda). Police recovered carbines with magazines (2), ammunition (56 rounds) mobile phones (3), TVS Apache motor-cycle (1) and cash of |Rs. 54000/- from the site of encounter.
