1. Sew [2] – Vintage Postcard Toss/Black HST together as shown. Press. Make [4] an inner star points units.
2. Arrange the [4] inner star points units, [4] – 4-1/20 Vintage Postcard Toss squares, and the center block. Sew the units together in rows and press towards the squares and center square. Nest the seams and sew the rows together to create the star center. Set aside.
3. Sew the 8-1/20 background square to the top of a Black/background HST as shown. Press.
4. Sew [2] Black/background HST together to create a large star points unit. Make [2] and press.
5. Arrange the square/HST unit, the [2] star points units, and the star center. Sew the units together and press.

Measures 16-1/20 3 44-1/20
Use [2] – 12-1/20 3 16-1/20 background rectangles, [4]
– 4-1/20 3 8-1/20 background rectangles, [2] – 4-1/20
Word Toss Teal/background HSTs, [6] – 4-1/20 Word Toss Gold/background HST, and [1] 8-1/20 center squares.
1. Sew the [2] – 4-1/20 Word Toss Teal/background HST together to create a star points unit. Press.
2. Repeat with pairs of Word Toss Gold/background HSTs to make [3] star points units.
3. Sew a 4-1/20 x 8-1/20 background rectangle to the right side of the color 1 star points unit. Press to- wards the rectangle. Set aside.
4. Sew a Word Toss Gold star points unit to the top and bottom of the center square unit. Press towards the center. Set this center unit aside.
5. Sew a 4-1/20 x 8-1/20 background rectangle to the right side of a Word Toss Gold star points unit. Press to- wards the rectangle. Sew a 4-1/20 x 8-1/20 background rectangle to the top and bottom of the unit. Press towards the rectangles.

6. Sew the unit to the right of the center unit. Press.
7. Arrange the top unit, center unit, and [2] – 12-1/20 3 16-1/20 background rectangles. Sew the units together and press.
Sew Sections 2, 3, and 4 together in that order—top to bottom. Press. Sew Section 1 to the left and Section 5 to the right of the 2/3/4 Section just made. Press to create Unit 2. Measure 80-1/20 3 44-1/20.

Use [1] – 8-1/20 3 16-1/20 background rectangle, [1]
– 8-1/20 background square, [2] – 8-1/20 black/back- ground HSTs, [4] – 4-1/20 background squares, [8] – 4-1/20 Word Toss, Gold/background HSTs, and
[1] – 8-1/20 center square.
1. Sew [2] Word Toss Gold/background HSTs together and press to make a small star points unit. Make [4].
2. Repeat with the pair of 8-1/20 black/background HSTs to make a large star points unit. Set aside.
