Sneha Vignesh, a 10 standard student of Delhi Public School Chennai resides
in a residential colony of Anna Nagar. She is a bright scholar with high aptitude
in Quiz, Sports and
Cultural Forte. She
was also a part of
the National
Service Scheme in
School. One fine
evening while she
was going for
grocery shopping,

and run accident
where a car lost its
control and hit a
man who was
travelling in bicycle
in the same
direction. There was not much crowd around the scene. Sneha wasted no
time and immediately dialed the ambulance. The injuries sustained was of
minor nature. From a nearby shop, she got the band aid and relevant stuff.
Sneha gave first aid to the victim in lines of the training that she once received
during her grooming in National Service Scheme Soon the ambulance arrived
and she along with the patient went to the hospital. The person in the car
accompanied them and he took care of all the expenses. The family members
thanked the girl for her courage and the school principal was also informed
of the incident by the hospital. Sneha later received appreciation from the
school authorities for her quick response.
