project where they have to for a site visit under a specific category. Satish and
his group of batch mates
were given the category
of Temple Architecture.

entrusted Satish with the
decision making as he had

various sites and
educational excursions
etc. They visited the
Brihadeeshwara Temple
in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.
The reason they chose
this temple is because
Brihadeeshwara Temple is the world first temple to be made out of granite.
Satish was a group lead and had a team of 15 people. He divided the groups
into 3 teams with 1 team lead and gave 3 different aspects to cover. Satish
took the picture from an atop position and is delighted to capture the
picturesque. At the conclusion of the visit and return to the college, the group
submitted the report of observations. The faculty appreciated the unique
thought of the team to cover this temple and the observations that were
supplemented with pictures.
