Ramaswamy Iyer is a Phd scholar of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras

currently in 3 year. Mr Iyer belonged to a village in Karnataka near to Bidar
District. During adolescence he was struck with a tumor in his right leg. Due
to lack of immediate medical attention the leg had to be amputee. Through
his childhood he had seen the importance of timely medical attention and
availability of other resources at a lesser cost for the unprivileged. He studied

very hard during academics of 12 standard. Under the district administration
program, he received free training for the IIT JEE. He cracked the exam with
flying colors and enrolled into the Indian Institute of technology Madras.
Going forward he was given
the upgrade to PhD in 3D
design technology from the
same institute. He took 3 D
printing technology to a next

prosthetic arms and legs for
the amputee. Under the
startup incubator system his
idea got financial grant and
he was nominated for the
Startup India Program. Mr
Ramaswamy Iyer always maintained a great visibility by interacting with
juniors and other faculty members. With sincere efforts his company
“Divyang” made great orders and profits. He made use of all the profit for
philanthropic purpose. In this picture he is seen receiving calls from his friends
expressing their pride on his accomplishments.
