husband. Her husband
Dhiraj is a farmer and goes
in the field right in the dawn
and comes back by dusk.
Meanwhile Sarasvati Devi
who is the wife, does all
household chores and their son Ravi goes to government school 3km away.
One fine day Ravi before leaving the home noticed that his mother was not
well. He went till the bus stop which is some distance from the village. He
returned halfway and saw his mother drawing the water from the banks and
was wiping out her sweat. Ravi was very emotionally moved and went ahead
and hugged his mother. He realized the need of taking his parents out from
poverty. Time flew by and Ravi studied hard all the way scoring meritorious
marks in all boards. Ravi by his nature was very cordial with all villagers and
believed in attitude of service towards the elderly and his age group in terms
of education. He was festive and participated in all the village functions. After
th
clearing his 12 board with 90 percent marks Ravi is all set to join the Delhi
University availing scholarship.
