Carrick Bend

Some say that Saint Carrick, an Irish monk who lived in the Middle Ages, is the
patron saint of topmen because it is with his knot that we create the safest bend
between two ropes: the Carrick bend.
This knot is also interesting because it is the gateway to advanced
seamanship, since it requires a preparation that we will use for braiding.
Finally, no matter what the tension placed on the knot, you can always untie
               it relatively easily.
