“WATER IS LIFE” NATIONAL MURAL AND ART CHALLENGE
The annual Wyland National “Water Is Life” Art Challenge provided art supplies and education to schools in over 400 cities. Every year, this free program for grades K-12 encourages students to work collaboratively to discover the many issues affecting local, regional, and global water quality.

new decade for water!
For more than three decades, the Wyland Foundation has taken an active role in raising awareness about the effort to protect our ocean, lakes, rivers, streams and wetlands with numerous programs and initiatives. In 2015 the Wyland Foundation introduced a ten year project called the Wyland World Water Pledge, an official education outreach partner of the United Nations Environment Programme, that will focus on the many ways people can act locally to support the health of marine based eco-systems around the world.
