  Grading the learning to facilitate motor control: Starting with tracing in the outline on a large vertical surface supports the development of motor control in young children. Tracing in smaller shapes builds precision so chil- dren can learn the concept and the motor skill to move onto being able to look and copy the starting shapes from a visual image only.
Encourage children to have a go with paper and pencil so they can associate the interactive learning with learning to write on a horizontal surface. There are activities available in the PDF section under the
