    The Counseling Office is available for students and parents before
    school, during school, and after school. The function of the              Counseling Office Direct Line
    counselor in high school includes academic advisement, classroom
    guidance, counseling,  consulting, and coordinating special programs. Our counseling staff includes eight
    counselors who are assigned to students alphabetically based on their last name. Appointments to meet with a
    counselor should be scheduled through the counseling secretary and, if possible, at least 24 hours in advance.

                Credits required for promotion:
            For promotion to 10th grade: 5 credits
            For promotion to 11th grade: 11 credits
            For promotion to 12th grade: 17 credits




                               Quick Fact
                    The name, Mill Creek High School, was
                 selected by a group of Gwinnett citizens who
                  grew up in this area when there was still an
                 active corn/grist mill on nearby Duncan Creek.
