INTRODUCING ECO ANGUS
We are excited to welcome Marc Braun and his ECO Angus breeding program to our PMB Genetic
Alliance. We are enthused because Marc is a serious breeder who operates his Angus Breeding
program as a profit center. He is committed to the use of both Phenotypic and Genomic testing as a
means to compare, evaluate, and enhance the genetics of his herd. In fact, it was our GrowSafe Feed

Intake testing capability that stimulated his participation with PMB.

Marc’s ECO registered herd as well as a large commercial herd is located on the Muddy Creek Ranch
near Oshkosh Nebraska. Marc also operates the “Heifer Development Center” near Oshkosh. Marc

has been breeding registered Angus cattle for more than 30 years.

In his words, “Our program is focused on raising cattle that perform in any and all environments.
Therefore we strive to produce as many pounds of beef with as few resources as possible. This leaves

our customer’s profit margins larger and their futures bright.”
