OUR NETWORK SPANISH AMERICAN CENTER Food Pantry – Provides fresh and canned foods to the local area community. THE SALVATION ARMY –FITCHBURG Bridging the Gap – Addresses multiple determinants of emerging anti-social behavior in first time juvenile offenders and other at/high risk youth. Includes a 12- week comprehensive life-skills program offered in the Fitchburg and Gardner areas. Comprehensive Emergency Assistance – Provides emergency assistance for those in need. Helps with food assistance, rental/mortgage, utility assistance, emergency disaster services, camp experiences, seasonal assistance, referrals, clothing, and furniture. Summer Fun Program – Provides breakfast and lunch for income eligible kids 0-18, as well as educational, craft, and recreational programs with a mentoring component for children 13 and up. YMCA- MONTACHUSETT REGIONAL CON’T. Teen Center – Provides services to the middle and high school youth that encourage social and leadership skills through structured activities, homework help, classes, volunteerism, and involvement in the community. Youth Program – Offers services and recreational activities to youth that enhance academic and social development in a safe, supportive, and supervised environment. YWCA OF CENTRAL MA Community Outreach and Prevention – Enhances school and community-based youth violence prevention programs. Provides knowledge to help understand the seriousness and long-term ramifications of violent behavior. 41 Programs funded $593K Total grant distributions 95,800 Units of service delivered in Health, Basic Needs, and Educational Programming THE SALVATION ARMY- ATHOL Basic Needs Support – Strives to meet the basic needs of all who come seeking help. Provides immediate care of food, shelter, clothing, and safety as well as support for people to take the first steps in developing a more positive and permanent life change. YMCA- ATHOL AREA Youth Development and Healthy Living – Committed to strengthening and enriching the lives of all individuals and families in the greater Athol area through quality programs and services that build healthy spirit, mind, and body. With a focus on developing the potential of kids, improving health and well-being, and giving back and supporting our neighbors, membership in the Y brings about meaningful change. YMCA- MONTACHUSETT REGIONAL Camp Lowe Scholarship Program – Provides scholarships to 75 children to attend Camp Lowe for one week during the summer months. 20% INCREASE FROM FY 2017-18
