Children’s Holiday Fund

This year marks our 29th annual toy drive for the Children’s Holiday Fund. The
toy drive is an important hallmark of our holiday pops concerts, extending our
reach into the community in a meaningful way. All three Hometown Holiday
shows feature a March of the Toys parade, providing a fun way for children to
participate in the spirit of giving. While the orchestra plays, children of all
ages follow Santa on a parade around the hall with unwrapped, new gifts to be
deposited in the Phil toybox for families who may need a little help this season.
The joy and happiness of the holiday season can be difficult for families
experiencing financial difficulties and homelessness. The Children’s Holiday
Fund helps to ensure that children and their parents throughout the greater
South Shore have the opportunity to share in the spirit of the season, build
life-long memories, and enjoy special times together. Through the fund, the
Plymouth Area Coalition provides toys, gifts, winter clothing, and holiday meal
baskets to deserving children in our South Shore communities.

Application and donor forms are available at plymouthareacoalition.org. The
coalition can be reached at 781-582-2010; info@plymouthareacoaltion.org.
