Welcome to Opening Night!
As we start a new season, I’ve been reflecting on the
extraordinary tapestry that makes the Phil the remarkable

Beyond the concert hall, our board of directors ensures the organization is fulfilling
its mission to inspire, engage, and entertain through the power of live music.

On the front line, volunteer ushers led by Sharon and Phil Ferraguto play an
integral role. They assist with your tickets, guide you to your seats, and ensure your
experience is exceptional.
Crucially, the Phil could not thrive without the support of our valued donors,
sponsors, advertisers and financial supporters. Simply put, we could not do
anything without them. Even if every concert sold out, the revenue generated would
cover less than half the cost to produce our concerts, educational programs, free
performances, and other community initiatives.
Last, but certainly not least, is my staff. I cannot say enough about what a
wonderful, dedicated team I get to work with daily to bring everything together.
Kara McEachern, Erin LaFleur and Elizabeth Lamar-Pinchback are a tiny team
who orchestrate every facet of our operation, from concert production to marketing,
audience engagement, and ticket sales. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. They
do so much more and are the engine that makes everything run smoothly.
Our digital concert program – ENCORE! – contains bonus content and each issue
will Spotlight some of the people who make the Phil great. Delivered to your inbox
before every concert, ENCORE! offers a backstage pass to the magic that unfolds.
Welcome back! We look forward to spending another exciting season with you.
