Face Mask Making Activity
Grade 1: Animal Face Mask Making Activity

Mask making is one of the most enjoyable crafts that children can be engaged in. This activity
was organized to explore and encourage creativity in children and offer them a platform to
exhibit their skills. Each student made animal mask of their own choice like tiger, dog,

giraffe, panda, lion, elephant etc. Students were actively involved and prepared their masks
with creativity and perfection. After preparation, teacher asked them to classify the animals
they made as wild, domestic and pet animals. Then students discussed about the eating habits
of these animals and their habitat also. Thus the activity was related to their science lesson.
(CCL TO SCIENCE). The children took part actively in the activity.
