As responsible citizens, students of GIHS are
committed to act consciously and admirably to
protect the environment and safeguard the
well-being of the school and society at large.
To demonstrate this role and to commemorate
the 150 th birth Anniversary of Mahatma
Gandhi, students from Kindergarten to Grade
12 participated in the ‘Clean Up School
Premises’ campaign on 2 nd October 2019
initiated by the students of Science & Social The School Public Address System was
Science Department. used by the Student Council to give an
enthusiastic and passionate call for
‘Swachhta Mission’ to realize Mahatma
Gandhi’s dream of cleanliness. The
Mahatma’s visualization of cleanliness was
three-pronged-a clean mind, clean body and
clean surroundings.
