Grade :1-4

The Malayalam Department organized a
variety of cultural programs for grade
1 -4 and the students showcased their

language skills in the form of skit, songs,
speeches, storytelling, poem recitation,

poster making, role play, extempore,
drama, debate etc.

The Hindi Department organized various
activities like poem recitation on ‘Tolerance’

and storytelling competition for students of
grade 1 – 4. Students were given the unique
opportunity to showcase their skills through

the activities and they enjoyed a lot.

There is a need for inculcating a sense of pride
and importance for the second languages that

the students’ study as part of their

curriculum. Keeping this in mind all the
students were given an opportunity to make
presentations in their languages.
