Grade: 5-8

To celebrate the Language Week and to

create love for the Malayalam language, the

Department organized a variety of cultural
programs for Middle Phase students. Grade
5–8 students showcased their language skills

in the form of skit, songs, speeches,
storytelling, poem recitation, poster making,
role play, extempore, drama, debate etc. On

this occasion students were encouraged to
participate in different activities to develop
their competency in Language skills and

express their deep sense of creativity.
Teacher guided this by channelizing the
students’ energy in the most effective

manner.

The Hindi Department also organized

various activities for Grades 5 to 8. Students
were engaged with small skits based on
‘Tolerance’ that they enacted in their

respective classes. They prepared interesting

charts and made slogans depicting their
view on ‘Tolerance’.

This also helped to inculcate a sense of pride

and made them understand the importance
for the Hindi language.
