MARCH PAST

The drumbeat rolled the band stroke up and a high-pitched
voice issued a command. The synchronized swing of arms and
the sound of thudding feet stir something within us. Besides
being spectacular, there was something inexplicably

inspiring about a march past, it is the sense of dignity and
pride the prefectorial body bring to it.

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.
It is the soul of a troupe. It makes a small number
formidable, procures success to the weak and esteem to all.

To make them formidable, the students of different disciplines
were on parade and they exhibited their oneness and
readiness to serve for their peers.

The march by all the Student Council members, the House
Captains, Vice Captains, Senior, Junior and Budding Prefects
was a spectacular show which had set the mood of the event.
The team of august administrators on the stage received their
salute.

“March past is all about synchronization and
teamwork. Marching in a contingent demands
alertness and an unspoken co-ordination.”
