PPT, flash cards, pictures sorting and matching activities.

Revision of double consonant “ng” using PPT / Flash cards /Real objects and

‘educationcity’ activities.
Introduction of articles ‘a’ or ‘an’ using PPT and hands on activities.

Rules for using it before a word and in sentences with picture clues.

Writing: Simple sentences using “ng” sound words with punctuation marks
and sentences using ‘a’ or ‘an’ articles.

Reading: ORT books (Oxford Reading Tree books level 2).
Reading: Reading short sentences, high frequency words and tricky words.

Parental tip: Encourage your ward to practice activities in ‘educationcity’

and ‘kids a-z’ and write simple sentences using the words with double
consonants – ‘ll’, ‘ss’, ‘ff’ and ‘ng’ as a revision practice.

( Eg: ‘ll’- I have a ball. ‘ss’ – I can play chess.

‘ff’ – The dog can sniff. ‘ng’ – I like to sing a song.)
