(MORNING SESSION)

The House system is of great importance to school life. Inter-House
competitions are more popular than they ever were. They have
taught students the value of teamwork, a sense of collective
responsibility and how to be gracious in both victory and defeat.
Throughout the academic year the House teams will have the
opportunity to compete for House points in a variety of Inter-
House events, Sports Day etc. and win the prestigious GIHS House

Trophy!

The House Meeting (Grade 4-12) for the academic year 2019-2020 was
held on 11 April 2019 from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. The House meeting

was facilitated by the four House Mistress- Mrs. Shareena (Emerald

House), Mrs. Parveen (Ruby House), Mrs. Reena Mary (Sapphire House)

and Mrs. Snisha (Topaz House).

Morning session Head Coordinator-Mrs. Naina Pandit, Activity

Coordinators -Mrs. Shani Janisa (Gr. 9-12) and Mrs. Thushara Anish (Gr.

5-8) informed the students of the Election procedure for the post of

Captain and Vice-Captain.

The Upcoming Inter-House Events were announced. The House teachers
inspired the students to strive for the winning trophy.

Thus, this year’s GIHS Inter-House Competition has been declared open.
