Grade 7
With the intention of developing architecture skills,
mathematical learning, decorative skills and the
ability of logical thinking Grade 7 had the Origami
Competition. Students used their creative skill and
imagination to transform the colour papers into
vibrant and spirited compositions. Students got an
opportunity to display their skills and also their
dexterity in paper folding to present superlative
Origami compositions.
Grade 8 GRADE 8
Grade 8 had the Pasta Jewellery Making
Competition. Students used their skills to decorate
the pasta using coloured felt-tip pens and a variety
of sequins. They then threaded the pasta
and beads to come up with finished creations. They
thoroughly enjoyed the process of creating different
jewellery of various pattern and design.
The healthy competitions among the students were something to be
appreciated. The enthusiasm, wisdom and confidence shown by the
students was remarkable. It was yet another day of excitement both
for students and teachers of GIHS.
