After the summer vacation the first school house activity
was conducted on 19 September 2019 at 4.45pm, in
th
different class rooms. The theme of the activity was
RANGOLI competition for grade 4 and 5 and for grade

6 to 8 the main theme was DUBAI IN FUTURE for
Wall collage making, and for grade 9 to 12 the activity

was PICTURE TO STORY.” This was an attempt to

enhance the creative and writing skills of the students.
The objective of the ‘Rangoli competition’ was to

improve creativity in coloring and designing.
Competition made the students understand the

alternative use of natural materials like leaves, soil,
fruits, clothes and biodegradable items.

Wall collage making was the main attraction of the

house activity. This was conducted in the respective
class rooms. The students made different collages and

expressed their ideas in a creative way. It gave each
student a chance to express their vision of Dubai in the

future. The judges evaluated their work and announced
the result. The teachers in charge led the program.

Form grade 9 to 12 the assigned activity was Picture to

story writing .The objective of this was to write a story
by seeing a picture. This activity gave the students an

opportunity to show their talents in the literature.
