SCHOOL RADIO BROADCAST ON THE

HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN-2019

G.I.H.S. Radio show always increases students’

productivity and provides them with opportunities

to develop creativity and social skills.

Primary section took the opportunity to conduct

radio show during the holy month of Ramadan.
Students spoke about the humanitarian deeds done

by His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al

Nahyan, the first President of United Arab

Emirates, and how his legacy continues through the

deeds of current leadership and visionaries of UAE.
The primary section under the guidance of

Supervisor took hold of this opportunity to wish the

leadership of the nation, the Emirati community and

all residents of the UAE a happy and blessed holy

month.
Students of grade 2 and 3 had a great conversation in

the radio about the values of charity, generosity,

tolerance and equality in UAE as well as in GIHS.

Students highlighted the charitable acts of GIHS, they

have seen live in 2019, in their conversation. They

conveyed the message that “We make a living by
what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

Students of grade 4 talked gracefully about the

contribution of His Highness Sheikh Zayed, an

environmentalist and a leader, who kept the progress

of his nation in mind along with the important global
concern –sustainability. The radio show was well

received by the student audience as it was an

audience participation show.
