SPECIAL RAMADAN ASSEMBLY
AFTERNOON SESSION
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
The month of Ramadan has great significance in
the Islamic society. Fasting during this month is
the fourth pillar of Islam. Ramadan is not only
the month of fasting but also the month of self-
control, giving charity, patience, tolerance and
so on. As part of raising awareness among
students about the significance of fasting during
the month of Ramadan, the department of
Islamic studies in GIHS conducted a special
assembly on Sunday, 5th May 2019 in school
assembly area, both in primary and secondary
phases.
