SCIENCE CLUB LITERARY CLUB
REPORT ON CLUB ACTIVITIES
(AFTERNOON SESSION)
GRADE: 4-12
DATE: 18 TH APRIL, 2019 TIME: 4:45 P.M. -5:50 P.M.
SCIENCE & ECO CLUB
The first Science Club Activity for the academic year 2019-20 was scheduled on 18 th
April, 2019. The objective was to develop cognitive thinking and environmental
protection awareness among the students.
The enthusiastic involvement of the students in the activity ‘’Do it yourself” inspired
the students to develop psychomotor skills, cognitive development and the need to protect
nature by reusing materials like plastic, batteries etc. The activity started by creating a
scientific and innovative environment by the students from grades 4 to 12.The students
were arranged into different groups, where they started to develop different designs using
battery, since the theme given to them was ‘Make Use of Battery”. Students, who were
innovative, and spontaneous, created different designs and each group presented their
models in a methodical and scientific way. The electric race car, water dispenser, electric
parachute, compass, electric torch were few of the different projects that were showcased
by the students.
MATHEMATICS CLUB
“Engaging Mathematical games can also encourage students to explore
number combinations, place value, patterns, and other important
Mathematical concepts”
Math club arranged a variety of activities for students from grade 4 to
12 under different objectives such as “Give ME-Mind “calculations for
grade 4 and grade 5 students and Grade 6- 12 students were encouraged to
analyze “How to Estimate How Far Away Something Is?” through
Mathematical fun. Students of Mathematics club enjoyed the game and had
fun in the Mathematics club by actively participating and thereby further
developing their finer skills in understanding Math. Learners found out
many smart and quick ways to find the distance between object and person.
Learners from each grade participated with great interest in the activity and
showcased enthusiasm by giving instant answers.
