TOLERANCE DAY

GRADE 1-4 (26/9/2019)

GRADE 1
Primary students of GIHS observed

Tolerance Day on 26 th September, 2019 .It
is such a valuable day for the students as

the ability to be tolerant of others is one

of the most important tools a child needs in

his or her social tool box. Follow up
activities were conducted in the classes as

the part of ‘tolerance day’.

GRADE 1

In today’s society, especially with how globalized the

world has become it is important for children to learn
to accept others from an early age. As part of the

tolerance day celebration, grade 1 students of GIHS
got a chance to share their views and ideas about

tolerance. In this activity , students spoke about the
topic of tolerance and relate the topic with the sub
theme “we may all look different but swim together “

.Children brought hands puppets of different sea
creatures and shows their way of accepting others

the way they are .They all are feeling happy and
confident .

It was evident from their face that the activity was
profoundly thought provoking and informative.
