Therefore, whether you are a novelist, a poet, a short-story writer, an essayist, a biographer or an aspiring beginner,
you want to improve your craft. The question is how? We in Gulf Indian High School encourage and motivate
students to write their thoughts that would search the great writer in them. We conduct such activities to inculcate
the writing practices among students across all phase. So, what is this Picture to Story? Students pen down their
thoughts as a piece of writing to the picture that was shown to them during this activity.
The purpose of creative writing is to both entertain and share human experience, like love or loss. Writers attempt to
get at a truth about humanity through poetics and storytelling. If you would like to try your hand at creative writing,
just keep in mind that whether you are trying to express a feeling or a thought, the first step is to use your imagination.
In conclusion, Picture to Story House Activity was truly purposeful. After all, the importance of developing the
writing skill cannot be overstated and it is a crucial skill of today’s world. Thus, it is vital that students cultivate
writing habit to ensure higher levels of proficiency.
The activity was so fruitful and engaging for students as well as teachers.
