The main events of the afternoon session were
the Visit to the Old age home. Celebrating
national day in an old age home gave the

students a great opportunity to express the
feeling of empathy & compassion and helped

them to realize the role of ‘care for the elderly
people’ in their life.

Palm Printing- Students of Grade 2 to 11

participated in the formation of national flag
with students’ palm printing.

The UAE national day celebration ended with
cultural events. All programs were of high

quality and highlighted the cultural and social
areas of UAE. Students gave various stage

programs like recitation of an Arabic poem,
Arabic Conversation, Skit, Arabic traditional

dance, etc.

By celebrating the UAE National Day with

such pride and devotion, the students of GIHS
proved their true emotions, love and the

respect for this great nation.
