Report on DEAR Session
“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man
who never reads lives only one.”— George R.R. Martin.
Drop Everything And Read has become a routine, the most enjoyable and awaited
session among the students, teaching and non- teaching staff members in GIHS.
This report brings out the glimpses of the comments collected from the students and the
pictures show how students were found engrossed in the reading session.
➢ “Reading is a better stress buster than any therapy.”
➢ “Reading is important because it is good for our overall well-being.”
➢ “Reading helps a great deal in building my confidence, reduces the stress and
puts me in a better mood.”
