On 2 April, 2019, GIHS planned an awareness
session on “World Autism Awareness Day”. A
range of class room activities and assembly
activities were planned to sensitize students. The
assembly session started with the recitation of the
autism
verses from the Holy Quran highlighting the
importance of respecting every individual. An
inspirational speech was delivered by Mast.
Mohsin of VIII E. To add value and to create
more awareness about day Mrs. Nadiya
Mohammed Saleem, SENCO, conducted an
awareness session for the students in Main hall.
The session created an awareness and
understanding among the students of how world
become partners in this movement toward
acceptance, appreciation and an inclusive
community.
