NUGGET FIVE

Winning an election is all about competition that is exhibited in the

numbers of voters.
It entails numbers competing with numbers which is a function of the

popularity of the contestants.

Many factors enhance the popularity and acceptability of the contestant
that will emerge the winner.

From past and present electoral experiences, one could easily submit
and conclude that it is not always the popularity and acceptability of a
candidate or contestant that will determine whether the performance of

a candidate will be the best.
Acceptability and popularity of a candidate in an election can be a

function gimmicks, sophistry, backstabbing, boot-licking and
propaganda.

In my clime, it is pitiful that the best mind with the best ideas can never
win an election.

This account for the reason why our political leaders breeds thugs, touts
and armed robbers.

A nation that has her number three man as a godfather to armed robbers
is nothing but a failed state.

Too bad for this country—Nigeria.
