작가노트(Artist's Note)

작품의 주된 소재는 내가 경험하는 자연이다. 자연과 인물에 시선이 멈추었을 때 느끼는 감동의 근원을 찾는 과정이 나의
작업 원천이자 대상이 된다. 작품 ‘바다’는 에메랄드와 코발트 빛이 어우러진 바다와 하늘을 마주한 매혹의 순간을 담고
자 했다. 파스텔이라는 신비하고 따뜻한 재료를 통해 내가 경험하는 자연이 한순간 빛이 충만한 공간으로 드러날 때, 나
는 또 다른 나를 본다.

The main theme of the artwork is a nature experienced by myself.
My thoughts are fixated at the moment when I’m focused on the nature and character. And the process of
finding that source of emotion becomes the origin and object of this piece. This piece of art <Sea> tried to contain
fascinating moment when met with sky and sea full of emerald and cobalt colors. When nature exposes itself
through light-filled space for a split moment, and especially when expressed by this warm and magical ingredient
–pastel- then I see another of myself.
