작가노트(Artist's Note)

늦은 나이에 우연히 접하게 된 파스텔의 부드럽고 따뜻한 색감에 이끌려 그림을 시작하게 되었습니다. 내가 아끼고 사랑하는 사람들 그
리고 내가 만났던 아름다운 풍경들을 주로 화폭에 담으며 작가로 활동한 지도 어느덧 20년이 다 되어 가네요.
이번 작품은 40년째 기쁨과 슬픔을 함께 나누며 우리 가족과 소중한 인연을 이어온 자애롭고 사랑 넘치시는 우리 신부님의 미소를 담았
습니다. 감사와 존경의 마음을 캔버스에 담아 신부님께 드리고 싶습니다.

I started painting because I was attracted to the soft and warm colors of pastels that I came across at a late age. It's already
been almost 20 years since I worked as a painter, mainly capturing the people I cherish and love and the beautiful scenery
I met. This work contains the smile of our benevolent and loving priest who has shared joy and sadness with our family for
40 years. I want to give my gratitude and respect to the priest on canvas.
