Furniture RFP Furniture Management Mover RFP Move Coordination Building Coordination Contract Negotiations Asset Disposition
Dowling Houy (DH) joined the project team in in late spring of 2012 to assist in the ground-up construction and occupancy of a a a multi-tenant mixed use building on Rt 1 in in Norwood MA Dedham Medical Associates (DMA) planned to occupy about 80 000SF of of state-of-the-art LEED accredited medical facility consisting of o offices exam rooms radiology procedure rooms rooms waiting rooms rooms and labs DH led weekly internal project meetings with the DMA executive team and assisted with furniture procurement asset disposition space yield-up coordination licensing procurement security coordination coordination IT/AV coordination coordination and and the the relocation of the the existing administrative and and clinical staff We were part of the the weekly construction construction meetings with the the owner’s construction construction project manager to ensure that the the internal DMA team team worked seamlessly with the the greater project team team After interviewing all participating departments to understand their needs and and functionality DH created and and issued the the Furniture RFP After providing a a a a a a a a a detailed analysis of the the bids to DMA a a a a a a a a a final candidate was selected DH DH worked with both parties on on the final finish selections and order placement DH DH tracked and over saw the installation through punchlist completion keeping in in in constant contact with the GC to ensure all dates were met and not in conflict with any construction activities DH DH created and issued the the mover RFP providing a a a a a a a detailed analysis of the the bids to DMA DH DH negotiated the the the the final terms of the the the the contract and managed the the the the mover throughout the the the the process DH worked closely with end users and and the executive team on on move communications to patients and and staff We created and oversaw the the schedule to to get DMA moved from three existing buildings into their new space in in in in three phases beginning in in in March 2013 Patients were seen in in in the the Monday following the the clinical moves with no down time DMA has received much positive feedback from their their staff and and the the the the community they service about their their new and and improved space Dowling Houy LLC 281 Summer Street Boston MA 02210
