Move Coordination Dowling Houy was engaged as as the overall project manager for this privately owned investment management firm to to relocate them to to 100 Federal Street We were responsible for overseeing design construction technology and the the relocation itself The work included the the build out of a a a a a a a 35 seat trading floor and all associated support areas The trade desk was supported by in house technology that was connected to to an an emergency stand-by generator DH created and and managed the master project schedule and and budget for the the duration of the the project attended and/or led all project meetings supported IT planning floor plan plan development and construction approvals DH was a a a a a a a a partner with the the architect in the the furniture acquisition process and arranged for tours of other firms firms to evaluate current trends in in in trading firms firms DH developed and coordinated all schedules for furniture deliveries and installations Working with the the client’s operations staff DH managed the the move process from RFP to move-in and first day help desk A phase II was later initiated which expanded them on on to an an additional floor adding 15 trading seats conferencing and support areas The architect creatively reused as as as much of the existing finishes as as as possible and even redesigned some of the the existing furniture to make it it work for the the client Dowling Houy LLC 281 Summer Street Boston MA 02210
