Dowling Houy (DH) was hired August 2012 to relocate the Psychology Criminal Justice and Nursing departments to the newly constructed HSS Building located on South Campus HSS DH created the Equipment / Move Matrix Packing & Tagging Instructions and Welcome Packets that have subsequently been adopted by by the the University as standard documents used by by the the UMASS Lowell (UML) Project Management Department University Crossing
DH was engaged in in in early 2014 to relocate 14 14 departments departments including the the the Office of the the the Chancellor Admissions & Enrollment all the the the the departments departments reporting to to Dean of Students and the the the campus campus Bookstore from locations throughout the the the campus campus to to the the newly constructed University Crossing
For both projects DH:
 Provided photographs and a a a a a detailed inventory of o all furniture from office suites
 Collected all phone and and computer data used in the the the move matrix matrix created and and updated the the the matrix matrix throughout the the project  Created and maintained detailed move schedule
 Created and and issued Packing & Tagging and and DH was responsible for coordinating with nine furniture vendors as as as well as as as the the Bookstore and Aramark on on the the the delivery & installation of all all furniture furniture in in in the the the building UML and DH DH established the the the order that furniture furniture would be received DH DH communicated this to the the the vendors and and managed the the delivery schedule
ensuring loading dock and and elevator times for for each each vendor DH was on site for for each each delivery tracking issues that arose and communicating them to to UML DH also coordinated the the the schedule
with the the the General Contractor who was working on on on on on final activities 90 000 sf of furniture installations were completed without one conflict on on dock or or elevator times Welcome Packet documents  Ran all move meetings issued meeting meeting minutes
 Staffed all all moves and and Post Move Command Center (tracked all all all post move move move requests through completion) provided all all directions to movers  Assessed the the existing storage storage of each occupant and provided provided metrics based on the the the storage storage that was provided provided with with the the new furniture to to guide occupants with with purging activities Dowling Dowling Houy Houy LLC www DowlingHouy com 281 Summer Street 617 548 0553
