FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS (FSA)
Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to pay for out-of-pocket health and dependent care expenses on a
tax-free basis. You may begin making contributions in the month following your hire date. Our FSA is
administered by TaxSaver Plan. Please note, if you are enrolled in the HDHP, you are not eligible to enroll
in the Health Care FSA.
How the Health Care FSA Works
The Health Care FSA allows you to pay for eligible IRS-
approved medical care expenses not covered by your
insurance plan. Money that you now spend on the
following items can be placed in the FSA pretax. The
maximum annual contribution is $2,700.00
Deductibles and copayments FSA Claim Filing Extension:
Over the counter medications (prescription required)

The Dependent Care FSA allows you to use pre-tax
dollars towards the following qualified dependent care.
The maximum annual contribution is $5,000.00
• Preschool or nursery school expenses
• Babysitter in your home
• Day care center
• Summer day camp
• After-school care
This FSA is used for reimbursement of eligible day care
expenses for a Dependent who lives with you and who is
under age 13 (or disabled at any age).
FSA Plan Termination
FSA Plans end the last day of the month
when your service with the Rangers ends.
