Astronomy is a college prep laboratory based course covering content of Earth and its Solar System, and the Universe and its stars. Topics include terrestrial, jovian and dwarf planets, moons, comets and asteroids. Out of the solar systems we study the evolution of star life cycles,supernovas,blackholes,galaxiesandofcoursegravitationalwaves. Tostudyspacewe will learn the electromagnetic spectrum, telescopes, probes, satellites, rockets and robots. Astronomy A will focus on Earth and its solar system, while Astronomy B will focus on the Universe and its stars.

This course deals with Mental and Social health, Nutrition, Fitness, Diseases, Drug Abuse, family, growth and development. Great class to discover interest in Nutrition, Fitness and Medical fields and a strong explanation of the dangers of Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug use.

This elective class will introduce you to the exciting field of first aid and emergency care. You will learn lifesaving skills as well an introduction to the medical field. This class provides practical application to injuries, illness and care.
